Aloha mai kākou,
The Hawai’i Public Charter School Network (HPCSN) is a professional, united, structure of charter institutions/organizations that serves the Aloha State by lending a voice, supporting and advocating for Hawai’i's public charter schools, their employees and the over 12,000 -and growing- public school students attending Hawai’i’s public charter schools.
Since 2000, the Hawai’i Public Charter School Network (HPCSN) has provided timely support and strategy to empower and unify member charter schools and the charter education school model in the State of Hawai’i.
HPCSN is the leading state nonprofit organization (501(c)(3) committed to advancing the public charter school agenda in Hawai’i and overall, autonomy for our network membership through strength in number and influence with legislators and media.
Through advocacy and deep familiarity with legislators, community stakeholders and news media, HPCSN serves a pivotal role in amplifying the voice of charter-related issues and by serving as an intermediary with the Public Charter School Commission, its appointed board members and the Hawai’i Department of Education (DOE).
Through unity, our network occupies a critical role in the charter school movement as a leader in state/local education policy and as a prominent voice, determined to improve state charter policy and advocacy.
Our mission is to lead public education to unprecedented levels of academic achievement by fostering a strong charter movement.
We invite you to join our network in advocating for our charter schools and the goals they embrace, together we can make a big difference in the lives of the 12,000 students currently enrolled in Hawai’i charter schools.
